Portal is a single player game from Valve. Set in the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories, Portal will offer gamers hours of unique gameplay. The game is designed to change the way players approach, manipulate, and surmise the possibilities in a given environment. Players must solve physical puzzles and challenges by opening portals to maneuvering objects, and themselves, through space.

JAMES RAVES: I think it is an excellent physics-based puzzle game that makes you stop and think about the puzzle you're trying to solve. It's not too hard, but it's not that easy, either. Figuring out where to shoot your portals in a specific situation can prove to be tricky sometimes, but once you've played the game through once, you'll get the hang of it.

Get sucked into a whole new world of sight and sound as you juggle beats and ride the vibe in this modern look at the beginning of it all. BIT.TRIP BEAT for the PC is a brand-new version of the critically adored console game and it marks the beginning of CommanderVideo's epic journey of the soul.

JAMES RAVES: This game falls into the music/rhythm category. That's my world. Like a mixture of Pong and Guitar Hero, You must move the on-screen paddle to block the beats in time to the music. As the game progresses, the beat patterns get faster and require you to move the paddle faster. There are only 3 levels in the game, but each level is roughly 10 minutes long. Your first playthrough of the game will require you to retry levels time and time again, but that's part of the fun! Once you begin to memorize the beat patterns, gameplay suddenly becomes second-nature to you.
